C. Towne Springer has a physics B.S and some additional work in computational physics. He has more theory than most electronics engineers and more electronics than most physicists, which doesn’t really help much. He is one of those many people who work in electronics and computers and engineering without specific training and find themselves in positions called “Engineer” or “Physicist”. He makes no claim to be either but reserves the right to criticize both. Designing and marketing and supporting and writing docs for embedded devices and instruments has proven in the long run to be his greatest strength.
Working with Chinese engineers and manufacturers has been aided by learning some Chinese as a child.
